[Editor's Note: What do you call an inquiry where the accused gets to choose what evidence is presented and no accusers are asked for their side of the story?] via Bishop’s Hill Blog July 18, 2010 … One interesting snippet has emerged from this [Oxburgh inquiry]. When the original emails were released I reported on

via New Scientist July 14, 2010 IS CLIMATEGATE finally over? It ought to be, with the publication of the third UK report into the emails leaked from the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU). Incredibly, none looked at the quality of the science itself. The MPs’ inquiry – rushed out before the UK

via WattsUpWithThat July 12, 2010 I don’t have a dog in this fight, as this is between two people with opposing viewpoints, but I’m happy to pass on this rebuttal from Christopher Monckton, who writes: Professor Abraham, who had widely circulated a serially mendacious 83-minute personal attack on me on the internet, has had a

Well said Lord Monkton. Keep up the good work and pressure on the globalists and the heavily biased media.

Thanks for your work Lord Monkton. Thanks Mr. Szkudlarek for interviewing. I hope there will be a future where policy is not made but developed and where rhetoric is replaced by rationale.

Thank-you for that. The BBC is just part of the political class, as are so many other media organs. Thank goodness for the Internet and good people like Dr Jacek Szkrudlarek.
There is a 6-7 mins interview with Dr Ian Plimer from Copenhagen today, which reinforces what Lord Monckton has to say:

I think that Lord Monckton has gone too far in describing the Obama administration as being communist. I suggest that he does the anti-AGW cause no good by making this suggestion.
However, I will remind myself that his intelligence and courage has firmed up my newly-converted status against AGW. If he can do this by quoting the true science, then maybe he can demonstrate to me that the current US administration is, after all, communist.
Nevertheless, though he can bring forward the genuine and non-criminal science on Climate Change, and do it in a clear and amusing manner, it does not follow that he can do this with politics.
He is a mathematician, I think, and very, very scientifically literate, if he is not actually a scientist. He is not, I understand, an historian nor one in political history. I, therefore, totally distrust his allegation that the Obama government is communist.
I see no logical reason why Obama cannot recognise the light of day on the wickedness of AGW scientists, achieving this as much by Monckton’s lectures as by any other means.
I hope that the global governing clique will seek other means to consolidate global governance, and leave far behind the nonsense of AGW. I hope this for the ongoing integrity of science, and because I believe that world government is as inevitable as night follows day, regardless of whether I want it or not.
I would counsel Lord Monckton to withdraw his communist description of Obama’s government since, even if it is true, it not only detracts from the excellent work he is doing on AGW but scars and defaces it as well.
I have no doubt that he will take not the blindest bit of notice of my plea!
